§ 70.16. DEFINITIONS.

  • For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
    DISMANTLED OR PARTIALLY DISMANTLED MOTOR VEHICLE. Any motor vehicle from which some parts, which are ordinarily components of the motor vehicle, have been removed or are missing.
    ENFORCING OFFICER. The City Chief of Police, the City Clerk, or the authorized representative of either.
    INOPERABLE MOTOR VEHICLE. Any motor vehicle which, by reason of dismantling, disrepair, or other cause whatsoever, is incapable of being propelled under its own power.
    MOTOR VEHICLE. Any wheeled vehicle which is self-propelled, or is intended to be self-propelled.
