§ 93.999. PENALTY.

  • (A) A person who violates or fails to comply with the provisions of §§ 93.001et seq., or who shall hamper, impede, or interfere with the performance of the enforcing official under the provisions of §§ 93.001et seq., is responsible for a municipal civil infraction and subject to the civil fines set forth in the schedule of civil fines in § 34.06 and any other relief that may be imposed by the court. Each act of violation and each day upon which the violation occurs shall constitute a separate violation.
    (B) Any person, firm, corporation, trust, governmental unit, partnership or other legal entity that violates or refuses to comply with any provision of §§ 93.050et seq. shall be responsible for a municipal civil infraction and shall be punished by a civil fine of $50 for a first violation, $250 for a second violation, and $500 for a third or subsequent violation, as well as other applicable civil infraction remedies. Any person who violates any of the provisions of §§ 93.050et seq. shall also be subject to civil action seeking invalidation of the land division and appropriate injunctive or other relief.
